A big Team Dayā thanks to #CannesNYC and its organizer Andrew Kraft. The perennial event for those in the #same300 that are not in the South of France has selected Team Dayā as its charity partner.
There will be table tents with photos of our school building work from around the world driven by advertising and tech executives. Attendees can follow a QR code to this message from Kraft encouraging attendees to support our work.
Team Dayā members Lauren Rose and Neepa Shah will be at the event to talk about our work Building Change – raising funds and building primary schools in developing countries around the world. Advertising and technology executives can support the team in many ways – from financial support, to lending their expertise, to traveling to a future school build. As the event takes place, team members will be traveling to Senegal where the next project starts the week of June 24th.

Team Dayā 2024 Plans
In 2024, we plan to build schools in Nepal (March), Senegal (June 2024) and Guatemala (December 2024). These ground breakings will be our second school in each of these countries.
The exact start dates are:
- Sunday, March 17, 2024 – Nepal (arrive Kathmandu) [groundbreaking completed, construction in progress]
- Sunday, June 23, 2024 – Senegal (arrive Dakar) [scheduled]
- Sunday, December 1, 2024 – Guatemala (arrive Guatemala City) [spots available]
