Greetings to our #CannesNYC guests, where #thesame300 (at least, those who didn’t hop on a plane to NCE) get together, celebrate, connect, and have great conversations.
This year, we are pleased to support our new charity partner, Team Dayā, a group of advertising & technology executives who are raising funds to build primary schools in some of the most impoverished places in the world.

The group, founded by adtech veteran Jay Sears with support from over 1,000+ founders, CEOs and executives, has launched six schools in Nepal, Senegal, Guatemala, Malawi and Nicaragua. The group recently returned from its second Nepal school project and will be breaking ground on new schools in Senegal (on June 23rd – just days after our event) and Guatemala (December 1st).
We are asking each attendee to consider making an online donation today. We are expecting 100 attendees and it cost $40,000 to build a school:
-if we average a $50 donation/attendee, we can raise $5,000 – 12.5% of a future school build!
-if we average a $100 donation/attendee, we can raise $10,000 – 25% of a future school build
There are many existing Team Dayā supporters among our group today – please consider joining them in supporting this good work with a donation of any amount.

Team Dayā 2024 Plans
In 2024, we plan to build schools in Nepal (March), Senegal (June 2024) and Guatemala (December 2024). These ground breakings will be our second school in each of these countries.
The exact start dates are:
- Sunday, March 17, 2024 – Nepal (arrive Kathmandu) [groundbreaking completed]
- Sunday, June 23, 2024 – Senegal (arrive Dakar) [full, no more capacity]
- Sunday, December 1, 2024 – Guatemala (arrive Guatemala City) [available]
- A 2025 schedule will be published by this summer.
