Team Members

Twelve months after its founding, Team Dayā headed to Nepal for the groundbreaking of its first school in Dhayapur, Nepal.

Team Dayā members do three very important things to represent the advertising and technology community in working to fight illiteracy by building primary schools in some of the most impoverished places in the world:

  • Commit to helping raise the funds needed to build schools (a three room school house in a place like Nepal, Malawi or Guatemala costs between $30,000 – $40,000 US Dollars);
  • Travel on a school build to work alongside the local community in building their school together–hand-in-hand (note team members cover all their own out-of-pocket costs including travel. 100% of your donations go to our non-profit partner buildOn for school construction);
  • Tell the story of how we can all work to break the generational cycle of illiteracy and poverty by building schools.
