Building schools in Guatemala.

Bio: Head of Industry for Google’s Retail Sector, based out of New York, NY. Mauricio is a general manager with over 15 years of experience that specializes in digital and retail marketing. Mauricio has run a half marathon in every US State and all 6-World Marathons. He lives in South Orange, NJ with his wife Kelly and his daughter Isabella.

Why: As a native of Guatemala, I was drawn to this amazing cause. I believe education is the gate to a brighter future. I was blessed with being able to have an education, which was the key to many opportunities in my career. Team Dayā’s commitment to building schools in Guatemala is a noble cause and I am humbled to be part of this initiative, which will hopefully provide similar opportunities as mine to other young children from my native country and their communities.
