Purwa Jain – Singapore
Bio: Purwa Jain is a seasoned professional with a diverse background and extensive experience in the marketing and ad tech industry, with a particular focus on startups. Her journey in the startup world has allowed her to develop a versatile skill set encompassing both technical and commercial roles. Born and raised in vibrant Mumbai, India, she has called Singapore her home for over a decade. In her spare time, she enjoys expressing her creativity through dance. She has had the privilege of collaborating with accomplished choreographers in the Bollywood industry, adding a unique dimension to her career journey.
Why: Growing up in a family of three daughters in India, my parents faced immense societal pressure that often discouraged girls education. However, their unwavering determination and boldness were truly remarkable. They fought every battle to ensure that we received the best possible education. Their courage not only defied norms but also opened doors to countless opportunities for us. The transformative power of education became evident in our lives. It acted as the key that unlocked doors to a world of possibilities we might have otherwise never known. It instilled in us the values of perseverance and the belief that knowledge could transcend any obstacle. Inspired by my parent’s unwavering courage and driven by the transformative power of education in my own life, I proudly join forces with Team Dayā ( दया) to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, receives the priceless gift of education.
