Sean Tan – Singapore
Bio: I am a true-blue Singaporean entrenched in the tech industry, specializing in commercialization and aiding companies in their growth journey. Supported by the unwavering love of my Canadian partner of two decades, I find myself in a reflective phase, redefining the notions of success and the essence of life. It’s a personal journey influenced by both professional pursuits and the richness of my longstanding relationship.
Why: Growing up in an underprivileged environment, there were times when putting food on the table for my siblings and me was a daily struggle. I didn’t have the opportunity to attend university, and that void lingered, a feeling of missing out on something significant in life. However, the journey to where I am today wasn’t solitary; the support of those around me played a pivotal role.
Reflecting on my past, I’m fueled by a deep desire to give back and pay it forward. The kindness I received along the way has left an indelible mark, motivating me to contribute positively to others’ journeys. It’s a personal commitment to making a difference and empowering those who might be facing challenges similar to what I once encountered.
