A Nepali filmmaker has produced a documentary on Team Dayā, showcasing its school building work. Kathmandu based filmmaker Shyam Karki of Samson Film Productions spent a week with the group in March, seeing two of the group’s school projects and shooting over 15 hours of footage.
The film, Building Change, the Team Dayā Story, runs eight minutes and includes footage from two communities in the Western Terai of Nepal, Hardahani and Dhayapur. Schools in both communities were funded by Team Dayā.
“What surprised me most about this project was how deeply the team got involved, not just by investing but by living with the families and truly integrating with the community,” said Karki. “Anyone can watch this film, and they will learn about the incredible impact of social work and how anyone can contribute to meaningful change.“

Team Dayā 2025 Plans
Our last school project for 2024 will be in Guatemala (December 1, 2024 start). We are now actively recruiting members for our 2025 groundbreakings. These builds represent our second schools in Nicaragua and Malawi and our third school in Nepal.
