Jay “The Instigator” Sears – New York – Founder
Why: In 1988, I was visiting a World Wildlife Fund development project in the remote Annapurna mountains in Nepal. Hearing I was from the USA and assuming I was some sort of envoy, the principal from the local school asked if I could send help. As a student, I was floored and humbled by the request. Thirty years later, I’m excited Team Dayā made a small contribution by building its first primary school in Nepal and that we continue to fund schools around the world. I hope we will inspire others to take action to benefit others.
Bio: Jay is the founder of Team Dayā. He has worked at across ad technology, marketplace and content businesses including Tentrr, Mastercard, Rubicon Project, Pulsepoint, ContextWeb, EDGAR Online and Wolff New Media.
